Will I receive a Payday Loan if I Have a History of Bad Credit?

Written By On 24/01/2013

There is a good chance that a person in need of a payday loan is likely to have had previous problems in obtaining a loan elsewhere. More often than not they will probably not be in the most enviable situation of being employed in a very well paying job. This are not the category of people that most financial institutions are interested in offering a loan, but yet these are the ones that are in need of one. It just appears fairly obvious that there is not a level playing field for everyone to apply for a loan.

When a person or family needs cash urgently and they are not from 'the correct category' then they are not thought of as 'desirable' to loan to. Therefore banks, credit card companies, etc. will have stringent credit checks which will probably mean that their loan will not be approved.

When you apply for a payday loan, most lenders will not require a credit check. If you have a bad credit history that is not necessarily looked at. They will be more interested in your current circumstances. Provided you are in regular employment with a bank account and debit card, over eighteen and live in the UK chances are you will be accepted.
